Bugatti Veyron tuning options....
No, not for me, but is it possible..
I'm guessing it would be possible to raise the boost a few psi on each of the 4 turbos to see significant gains..
Just watched hammond racing the jet fighter again, bet he wishes he had a turbosystems 200+ chip in it

Bet there is tons of gains, its gonna be totally unstressed at that level, its designed to last for ages.
Its not even 150bhp per litre, and even poo engines can usually handle that.
More boost and freer flowing inlet and exhaust sides would be the obvious things that i bet frees up huge amounts of power on that car.
Upgrading things like cooling would probably be a big job though, but if more boost overwhelms the stock coolers then water injection could be do-able.
My guess is its gonna have 4x GT28R size turbos, 280-300bhp capable each, so obv could go bigger.
Bet the engine can take more with no mods, maybe need race fuel if the compression means you cant go too silly on boost with pump gas.
The next question would then be what can the transmission take? My guess is LOTS more as its designed to last for ever IIRC, but you will deffo comprimise its reliability to some extent, like any car.

here's what the difference will be
"Upgrading the Veyron's Quad-turbo 8.0 W16 from 987 BHP to 1232 BHP, the new Veryon GT will reach a claimed top speed of 272. The GT will also receive a 70K pound increase in price, bringing the total to 770K pounds. The GT will go on sale early next year."

Think of it as 4 2.0 16v turbo motors, as thats essentially what it is.
Perfectly reasonable to expect to get 600bhp from each one of those if you look at evo's etc, so im sure with sufficient money, and enough cooling(this could be the limiting factor) getting 2000-2500bhp wouldnt be hard.
I bet a nitrous kit could see 2000bhp on the standard engine!

Nice LOL
Just got me thinking, thats all..
A stock car HAS to be built within certain tolerances, so I would have thought there would be MUCH room for improvement, albeit reducing the engines life.

hark at everyone saying "i'd do this and i'd do that to my veyron" when most of us can't afford to run the cars we currently have sitting on the driveway
and no, i'm not taking the high and mighty either, i've got 4 i can't afford to insure let alone tax at the moment

each cylinder is 500cc so that equals a total engine size of 8 litres
hence 4 2.0 engines bolted together = 1 8 litre engine
and seeing as most 2.0 engines have 4 cyclindres, that means 16 cyliders as well

272mph from a production car is pretty cool, i never thought there'd be any motor available off the shelf getting close to 300mph
for NOS it would need a direct port nitrous system with 16 injectors lol
and a few big bottles!
or just get one of them cheapo dry NOS kits with a nozzle going into the airbox PMSL! and be careful not to blow the welds on the intake
