Default LCD TV Problem......(Magic Eye)

We have a 23" Philips LCD in our bedroom. We use a Magic Eye to control the Sky box that it is another room.

The Sky remote will still control the TV (Volume etc), but won't control the Sky box any more. Sometimes if you turn the TV off and/or unplug it, its OK, but its getting worse. The aerial socket puts out a voltage or something doesn't it? I can't find any settings in the menu that are relevant.

Any idea's? Also, anyone know what the warranty is on Philips TV's? This is over 1 year, but not 2 years old yet.

Have I just got the Midas touch with electrical stuff lately?

im slightly confused. whats getting worse? you mean sometimes the sky can be changed with the remote and sometimes not?

the rf out on sky box supplies the power to the magic eye. Its turned on in a "hidden" menu. i guess your is on tho if you can change channel sometimes?

what you think is wrong with the tv?

are you still getting sky signal?

Sometimes the Sky remote will change the Sky channel in the bedroom, sometimes it won't. It started out suddenly and I could turn it off at the plug and back on again and it would be fine. But last night, nothing I did would make it work.

I have tried another Magic eye from another room and that doesn't work on this TV either, so definately seems to be a TV problem. Just not sure what!!

When I plug the Magic Eye into the Aerial cable, but not the TV, the light comes on on the Magic Eye, so this suggests its getting its power from the Sky box OK?
