what about using ford parts and just mixing and matching bits
would definately look different and would certainly make a few
people look twice

you could have some rings made up that bolt to the 4 stud hub and have 5 studs resessed from the back , and then just use wheels with the difference i the plate thinkness off the offset ...

might look into it a bit more with ford parts, where i work ive got
access to a press which we use for doing wheel bearings so that
wouldnt be a problem, just searching through bearings and hubs
to match the size would be the worst bit

Yes the S2 in question is owned by a mate of mine, we spent some considerable amount of time getting the right and is not undertaken lightly , getting all the holes in thru right place is big headache, as once you have machined a hole you can't really move it , the only reason for doing this conversion was to be a bit diffract, but on the plus side the car drives really well as the offset is the same as the original ford wheel and the rim is still quite narrow for a 16" wheel, no problem with rubbing at all even with four people on board

Good luck

Cheers

Steve
