Default what power would a grp a fuel pump be needed?

my car seems to hesitate on anything over 20psi ive changed plugs but im thinking of getting uprated pump and put a new harness in, just wonderd at what stage is a grp a pump needed

hob nobs...................................i've made 420 and 407 on different rollers and i'm on a standard pump.live mapped everythings fine........

do the wiring first.....

i only had 9 volts to the fuel pump before i did mine now ive got over 14V renew the earth aswell.


Also its worth renewing the alternator - battery cable, this gains resistance with age and heat from around the turbo area, i agian gained 1V at the battery from doing this....in turn gained that 1V at the fuel pump!

And whilst you are at it, think about replacing the fuseable wire ends on the cables next to the battery (presuming they are also no the 4x4 like they are on the 2WD. I gained a couple of volts across everything when I did this.

Got battery voltage on my 044 pump but i rewired mine.
