Default Another t38 question

Can u run the t38.55 with a stage 3 chip and greens?
I know you should have a t34 for this, but ive bought this t38 because i want more power in the future,or is it not worth the hassle and i should send it back and get a t34?

any advice would be great

I think i'd prefer the T34 with greens and a stage 3. Mine has had a NMS Head done, 1000cc injectors bla bla with the 38 and it works well. Mind you, i'm still going to a GT30 soon..

Never heard of a T38.55 before, i thought they all used the .63 exhaust housing.

Is the ex housing even stamped with .55 ?

I thought although I could very well be wrong that they were only a machined out .48 housing ?

Without doubt get it mapped though

IMO the best turbo you can fit to that engine.

My mates 3 door runs one and 5 years ago it made 400hp on Harveys dyno

Now with less boost it still runs this :

Not bad for a very old engine and turbo

Mental in your MK1
