Default sony ericsson K850i... transfering numbers onto new phone

Hi all

i ve just got a new K850i... really happy with it....

however i have to use my orignal sim card out of my sony w850i.... i want to transfer my numbers over but the sim only holds 200 and no other details...

i think the only way is to borrow another vodafone sim and bluetooth them across...

but nobody i know is on vodafone any other ways? the old phone still works...

any programs that will do it for me?

cheers!

ok cool. just installed the software.

so i need to have the sim in the old phone (w850i) and make a backup

then put the sim in the new phone (k850i) and restore?

will it let me restore to a different phone?

again, thanks for the replies

You can transfer all your numbers across using blue tooth or infra red . Just go into the menu select "contacts", then press "options", scroll down and select "advanced", scroll down and select "send all contacts", then chose to send via infa red or blue tooth (making sure these are activated on your new phone) .

Job done

some phones dont have the capability of 'reading' the files containing phone numbers sent to them through bluetooth.

Borrow a sim card off a friend / girlfriend - it's not rocket science - unless of course you have neither .

Does your mother wipe your arse after you've had a shit ?

They WILL transfer across as per my post, as I have done the same from a W800i to a K750i .
