Got it for something to do over the winter months as needs a few minor bits sorting out and to use as a run around.
Its rumord to be one of the Oldest Sports left although I have no idea.

Don't know about it being the oldest as iirc they only did the 1.1 sport for a couple of years starting at the launch in '77 then they brought out the 1.3 supersport 
Certainly not a common little car though!!!

No Idea about it historically was told the 1.1 sports were a bit thin on the ground so thought why not 
, just got it for a giggle really and is in a reasonable state.
Will see what happens, got a Mate who has a MK1 with Zetec in so that might be an option

Shaun is dodgy - i bought a new set of spax off him (years ago now mind) and they came complete with 'Halfords' price stickers.
Someone had been doing some tea leafing.
His brother Wayne is a sound guy though.
We only tend to have problems with parts from him NOT full cars - give the car a thorough going over though before you leave with it!
PS: XRTwo.com isnt busy during the day - it livens up at night.

Put it this way, my old mans an ex fireman and when we lived at Kirkby some lads purposefully set fire to a car in a cul-de-sac so they could block it off when the brigade turned up, they then helped themselves to everyhting on the pump while my dad and co put the car out, axes, hose reels, and basically anything else that wasnt locked down

So chances are by the time we get there the fiesta will have been used in 2 armed robberys, 4 hit and runs, 6 counts of illegal street racing and now be on fire in the middle of so shithole estate

Its home now and a pretty good little car. Only welding I can find is 2 new rear arches!
Managed a solid 90mph all the way from Sutton in Ashby back to Pinner in Middlesex...
Busy replacing bit on it at moment, Had - new Alternator, Solonoid, Starter, Coil, plugs oil and filter change, then its onto flatting it all back for a Satin black Spray job and new Silver 'S' Decals.
Im busy stripping back and repairing the alloys at the moment.
