My experience is men find it a refreshing change and are usually surprised when you can hold a conversation about cars and actually know what your talking about - same way I couldn't see a bloke with zero interest in cars, its good to have a common interest as well as separate ones - I think J would agree he is lucky that I am not the usual type of 'moany' bird lol

Of course there are varying scales of women into cars, ones who blatantly should have been a bloke and would rather be covered in dirty engine oil than make up - ones who still retain their femininity but have a keen enthusiasm in cars (moi), then theres the dizzy birds who like that bloke who 'has a really fast car, and neons and stuff' and wants lexus lights on her 1.1 Fiesta so she can pull the all the gary boys

Although I should imagine some men would feel a little threatened when their girlfriend suggests what is wrong with their car J seems to enjoy discussing and bouncing ideas off me

Have had experience of both sides of the lads not minding having me around and not liking it - but would say more of the latter (but maybe that's cos they don't like me personally )
Had them watching me changing my tyres over at a trackday, in the hope the wheels fall off at the first bend
