He Looked a lot worse than i thought it he would 
Must of been in a lot of pain putting the helmet and gloves on 
Fair play to him for racing but unfortunatly he lost

Plato pulled in 2x 2nds and a red flagged 4th i think in the final, lost the champs by 3 points 
I only just saw what car he was driving when he got burnt, the caparo t1, 205MPH F1 car for the road. 575bhp 3.5 V8 and just 550 Kg, oh and Ł190, 000+ price tag?!?!?!
No press were allowed to drive the prototypes on its lauch this summer and I believe Plato is one of the 1st ever, gutted, not looking good for the machine

I can't believe how blatant that **** Matt Neal was in the last race, letting the VXs past because he is becoming a VX driver next year..... Totally unfair and not very sporting at all. Hope he does shit next year

He's got a few burns to his face, round his mouth really. But the most severe burns are on the back of his neck and both hands/wrists.
Its a "full thickness burn" Basically all the skin, nerves and blood cells (IIRC) are dead

I really enjoyed wathing the last round yesterday really entertaining to watch and i think Plato drove pretty well considering injuries.
That car handles better through the bends but the vauxhall just has the edge on the straights.
shame he couldnt get past but he was catching

Vauxhall has today announced it has signed double Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Champion, Matt Neal, to drive for the marques works team, VX Racing, in 2008.
Neal, who has yet to sample the Vauxhall Vectra, says he was enticed by the cars dominant performance in this years championship, as it won the manufacturers and drivers titles with Fabrizio Giovanardi taking an unrivalled ten victories.
Ive always tried to make the best decision for my career at the time, said Neal, who has been racing for family-run outfit, Team Halfords since 2004. The last few years have been fantastic with Halfords. Weve had two championships but life is about new challenges and goals and I see Vauxhall as something different and the prospects of the Vectra look very good for 2008.
Neal has been one of Vauxhalls greatest rivals over the years, bringing the manufacturers four-year domination to an end in 2005 by becoming the first none-Vauxhall driver to win the BTCC driver title since 2000.
Weve been very impressed by Matts approach over the years, said VX Racings Brand Manager Stuart Harris. Hes been a great ambassador for the sport with his clean, progressive racing, and were delighted to add him to the squad.
Neal is familiar with Vauxhalls operational staff after driving for the manufacturers second team, Egg Sport, in 2002 winning three races and finishing third overall.
Ive always admired VX Racing as a good professional team with a friendly atmosphere, said Neal. Racing against them, they were annoyingly consistent! When they were running the all-conquering Astras in the early 2000s, it was tough because they would be knocking in the results day-in-and-day-out!
Neal will partner Giovanardi at VX Racing, after it was recently announced the Italian has signed for his third season with the Vauxhall works team. Im going into it wanting to do the best job, said Neal. I want to win races and championships but if I cant do the latter I will do my utmost to aid my team-mate along the way.
