Default In car ecu monitors

Can anyone point me in the direction of a decent ecu monitor for my saph? 2WD and will have an L8 fitted very soon.
Ive been looking at the IAW on MSD's site but dont really want to go that far and run a laptop in the car as well........Not just yet anyway!
Do I need saperate monitors/gauges to reead exhaust temp and inlet temp?
Cheers in advance!

Pectel monitors are good and can datalog. Some Pectel monitors have EGT facility - downside is they are quite rare and thus expensive. You also have the SECS monitor which is basically a reverse engineered Pectel monitor (without the data logging).

SECS monitor is not an ecu monitor - it is a sensor monitor and has it's own analogue/digital conversion
