Default Lexus + Toyota folks Help Please

Hi all i did a clutch on a lexus is200 sport 3 months ago straight forward swap no problem but bloke came to me today and asked me to tow him in as its gone again,

Won't pull at all and stinks of burnt out clutch, Now i dont know what hes done to it but its fucked,

So apart from him giving it some stick can anyone think whats caused the clutch to go again especially so soon?

Do the flywheels need skimming on these as i didnt have it skimmed when i fitted the clutch before,

Any help very much appreciated oh and i think its a 2 litre straight 6???

cheers, Grant

I work on toyota and used to work on lexus. Ive never come across that before. Hes not an old person is he cause ive done loads of clutchs on toyota, cause they are owned by old people n they rest there foot on the clutch causing them to burn out. Did you use a cheap clutch cause i would reckonmend a dealer part clutch.

It's a dual mass flywheel.

If that's started leaking then that wil kill a new clutch

Ideally they should be replaced as a pair, but they are fook expensive
