Default SOME T**T'S NICKED MY VAN - UPDATE

At 4.55 pm this afternoon in a sleepy little village of 100 houses, some cunt jumped in my van which I was loading out of a garage, and fucked off in it. The first person I met was an off duty copper walking his dog. Fair play for once there was coppers everywhere within 5 minutes. At 8 PM the Police came back, the Van had been used to rob a off licence in the town, at the moment the van is still missing. Police said expect it to get TORCHED, Fucking pikey thieving druggy bastards. Talk about wrong place at wrong time, must have left it for less than a minute.

No sign yet, pleased it was empty. Coppers say it must be in a lock up for another job, as its not been dumped or torched. Must like the £500 ICE in it, . Tossers

As said thats plain unlucky.

Do you reckon you was being watched? Sometimes it just takes a minute if that and its gone.

Unlikely that someone would hotwire a van in broad daylight that someone was loading, in a few seconds so most likely keys in it ?
I don't think you will ever see the van(alive) again, it's a shit I know but even when I am checking oil/water every weekend I always take keys with me, I hate tealeafs myself but unfortunately that is the way it is.
Police will have done a quick rece of the pikey sites, but obviously not there.
You will get paid out by insurer but they are at last thankfully tightening down on this, not so much you but the ones who pop into newsagents etc an leave car running outside, abought time thyue refused to pay these idiots out.

My mate had a cougar which was new at the time and he left the keys in it when he went to pay for some petrol. Obviously upon returning to the car where it was parked it was gone. They found it 2 weeks later over turned and down a ditch in Ferry lane in rainham. Insurance didnt pay him out saying it was negligence.

Yeah, the keys were in it but remeber this wasn't on a high street in some town, its the middle of nowhere, down a country lane. As I said i was loading it from a Garage 10 metres away. They must have been watching for me to head back to the garage!!!

And yes I am probably fucked as far as the Insurance are concerned.

Police still haven't found it, they think it'll get used again

I have found it, yes me not the Police. had a drive round the notorious estates and bingo its sitting there all locked up. Police now have it for SOCO, but I should have it back next week. Apprently they had used it for a number of jobs, and were probably gonna use it again!!!

Insurance companys say if the car gets nicked with the keys in it you lose it, unless they stole the keys

Great news on finding it m8, why don't the police look round dodgy places more often are they scared or too busy waiting for the easy target doing 62 in a 60!!

The chances are the police DID know where it was but gathering evidence is more important than one van, so they were most likely watching it, they would of course never tell you this.
If they caught the baddies in the van doing a job it is much better use of police resources.
Years ago a numpty friened of mine jumped out of his H reg astra gte to see his mate on the other side of the road, keys in engine running, found six hours joyride later bashed up written off, but they paid out!!

as far back as i can remember, insurance have always argued about paying out if keys are left in

i had an rsturbo which was stolen one night off my driveway when i was 18, had to send off everything i had to do with the car, including keys and key fobs for alarm
the cunts broke into the works van that was blocking the drive

i also had a series 1 that was in a local garage for new gearbox
that was "stolen" from the garage, and police came round to say a unit had been patrolling the local area the night iit was niccked, and were keeping an eye on it......but behold, they had to rush off to another crime (fair enough if it was more important and they were nearest) but when they went back to said scumsville to retrieve the car it has disappeared...

when i finally got it back it was trash
