Thanks Simon, I have contacted ford and the cost for a new manifold is £176.00 + VAT.
£206.80 incl VAT for the manifold (so there web site price is incorrect).

But I think they still think they have overcharged us with the labour.
Considering they have done this conversion many times before.. they struggled with the fitment of a new power steering pipe (this took them ages to fit – so more hours charged) and PE told us it was the wrong part.
We had to tell them it was the correct part, after confirming this with Ford & TOTD.
PE sold us a new manifold that wasn’t required after telling us the old manifold is faulty/bent.. clearly BS so they could make more money.

Would you be happy to pay £600 for PE to fit a ST170 manifold, CAT, Flexi Pipe, power steering pipe, dip stick tube and exhaust system.. I think NOT. The quote we had be given over the phone was £235 incl vat to fit this.
So that’s + £206 for the new manifold. that still only £441.
As you can understand everyone that I know will be told to stay clear for PE. We have left a message for Richard @ PE to call us back to discuss.

Hope Dickie calls you back and sorts things out with you.
