you should of defo gained power if theres enough fuel as your not on the limit of a standard head or inlet manifold. i reckon at least 10 hp

Conservatively is it not around 8-10bhp per pound of boost?

Whether or not thats pub talk Kev I have no fookin idea!

If the above is about right then 370ish? Wouldn't have thought you'd get much more on a .48 housing

A .48 housing will become restrictive at about your power really mate, people will claim they do more as usual...

Stu (MSD) said on the phone that genuinely a .48 won't do more than 370ish for long

Back to the .55 or .63 scenario then mate...?

Don't mean to come over funny or anything....

But if you've just had it set up, going home and upping the boost ISN'T a good idea.

Having spoken to a couple of tuners, they can do their best for the car when it's with them, but if you then go and change anything all that work they have done is wasted. You run the risk of leaning off at higher revs or higer speeds.

If the car was fine and the tuner (Stu@MSD?) set up at 26psi, it won't be fine and safe at more... sure he would have given you 28psi if that was safe.

Personally I'd leave it to the professionals and leave it alone. Several broken engines and more than 10 dead turbos in my career means I speak from experience of DIY tuning!

Why have it set-up then fiddle, leave it to someone who knows what they are doing. Why stop at 28psi fit a bleed valve & run 40psi, if you require more Power ask your Tuner how it can be achieved safely.

Fair play then... like Rod's micky taking example, seen far too many bleed valve tuners in my time!

Take it steady then, and I hope you've got an accurate boost gauge!

Kev, I reckon at this stage it's good for another 10BHP per 1 psi, so I'm going with 378BHP
