SECS MONITOR PICTURE PREVIEW *EDITED-NOW DIAL UP FRIENDLY*
Here are some screen shots taken with my camera phone so they
are not too good. This is just some basic info so you can get an idea
what it does. NO prices just yet - Please dont ask, still working it out !

Basic spec...
256x64 dots VACUUM FLOURESCENT DISPLAY (BLUE)
(display viewable area approx 4.5 inches by 1.3 inches)
4 buttons (+ / - / enter / exit)
Case either DIN case (radio size) or standalone aluminium billet box
Compatiable with ALL cosworths/zetecs/cvh/s1/s2/pectel/motec/S8/Focus RS
also uses OBD/EOBD/J1850/ISO protocols for all other makes
such as E.G Audi, Renault, Vauxhall etc...
External sensors oil temp,oil pressure, fuel pressure, EGT.
2 user outputs for NOS/water injection/boost control.
90 minutes data logging of ALL available data.
Fault code read and clear (if available on car)
Animated graphics and icons.
Scalable fonts and user customisable displays of data, bargraphs and
oscilogram style displays.
Download upgrades from the internet when available.
User definable warnings and alarm limits.
Output for driving external warning lamp/buzzer.
Records peak data for instant display.
Download user bitmap to display for customisation.
Display data conversion E.g Bar or PSI/ Degrees C or Degrees F
This is a display showing 8 data items with mixed fonts and bargraphs.
You can customise which data, where it is on the screen, how big it is,
and if its numeric or graphic plus you can add an animated icon to
show you what it is.
All this plus you can make upto 10 of these screens and easily select
between them
Similar display but only displays sensible data for those who dont like bling stuff
Main menu display a bit out of focus.
Animated escort cossie moving across screen shown. (not too clear sorry)
A new website is under construction with better pictures of the displays
and how the different cases look.
This is just a teaser for you lot.
Please dont ask me the price just yet !

will u be able to supply external sensors for oil pressure/temp etc?
How easy will it be to install? compared to old unit?
roughly when will it be availiable?
Is the diplay only availiable in that colour? red would be nice
whats the min amount of data on a screen at once or max? ie can i just have act on diplay at once or do u need to have more than one item showing?
any pics of what buttoms will look like and overall layout?

Installation - Depends on vehicle cant be more specific at present
Availability - Rolling out around November
Display colour - BLUE only - We dont want too many hardware variants
Data - On screen Min number of items 1 (any font size) or max 8 (small font size)
Overal picture of product - Will be posted within a few days.

The point is, the information is there and you dont have a dash
full of gauges that you cant keep an eye on all the time.
The display has user setpoints for example oil pressure low level, when this happens
an external output is energised which can be linked to a BIG warning light
then a message on the screen tells you the problem.
You then can look at the data or hook it up to cut the engine for safety.
Not every body likes big f*ck off defi's
You could buy 2 monitors for the price of 3 or 4 defi's and have more info.
