Default TRUST wireless optical mouse..cant get it to work??

I have just bought a wireless mouse and i cant get it to work

All i got in the box was the mouse...the batteries that i have fitted.....And a little usb dongle thing.

ALL it shows in the instructions is a picture of putting the batteries in

THEN

A picture of putting the USB thing in

THATS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tried that and cant get it to work

Has your machine picked up the dongle?

Laptop or desktop?

Is there a little button ont he bottom of the mouse and one on the dongle?

The pc has detected the dongle....but nothing happens

There is no connect button on the mouse

Is there separate channels on the mouse and receiver? If so make sure they are set the same

There is nothing....it just says plug in and it will work

Styrange. Are you running wireless internet at all? Is it a wifi mouse or bluetooth? Are the batteries in the right way

Sorry gotta ask!

Seen them not work before simply because they're shit. Have you tried the dongle in a different socket? Is it in the front or the back? Front ones sometimes don't always supply enough voltage and are unsuitable for stuff like this in some cases.

also have you shut down and removed the old mouse and booted up with just the new one connected?

Tiff

delete the software reboot the pc unplug the usb ..reinstall the software ..then plug in the usb lead ..should work

BTW they eat batteries very quick

Do you have the 2 batteries facing the same way as it states in the manual?

Any settings or anything anywhere?

tried everything suggested.....still not working....

SHIT THING

Gonna get a logitec one as there stuff always works
