How successful are PAYPAL disputes
My wife ordered something from a 100% feedback seller, however 2 days after the order was placed the seller started getting negative feedback for not sending goods out and now they are no longer a registered ebayer, she paid with credit card through PAYPAL-is she likely to get the money back as it was £100.00
Thanks for your help

buyers are 100% covered with paypal, buyers however are utterly fucked if a scammer decides hes going to claim the goods wernt delievered etc. its a fucking crock of shit.

dont touch paypal - just call up your credit card and get them to do a chargeback...
you will get the money asap and your credit card company will do the fighting for you. reason behind this is that technically its the credit card companies money that has been stolen and not yours.
paypal disputes are useless, yes you will win but you will only get refunded what they have in their account which in this case will be zero.
i paid for something using a positive balance i had in my paypal account and therefore wasnt covered via cc, ended up with 23p back out of £200

if you want to sell something and be paid via paypal you have to pay the fees end of...
in my experience i have found that its the buyer that is favoured...
i sold some wheels that were perfectly described, the buyer complained about wheels even though defects were clearly stated, and the fooker won the case...
paypal side with the buyer simply because, if an item doesnt get sold, then they cant charge fees

Problem with paypal is as soon as a buyer says they havent received something your fighting a losing battle
Also the dirty fuckers have it in their terms and conditions that you are not allowed to do a charge back through your credit card
Don't even bother with paypal just go straight through your credit card company as suggested above

so have you actually given them chance to send the item? or even tried emailing the address used with paypal? Or are you the typical buyer who complains then if the item did turn up you would no doubt keep the money

I also think that no correspondence from the seller, no longer being a registered user and a massive influx of negative feedback calling you a scammer and a cheat just before your ebay ID is revoked should warrant a certain caution and belief that the goods won't turn up!!
