Cars Suck!!
they really do!!
i just can't be bothered with them at the moment at all.
finding very little time to work on the 3dr, and when i do i can't be arsed to go through with it (when i say work i just mean the odds and sods that we all do.)
i even considered whacking it on ebay, but i have no idea on prices as i never really looked round for one..mine just came up when Staffi bought the saff.
even if i did sell i'd be confused as what to buy, always fancied a pulsar...and a classic mini with a turbo lump of some desciption...or a mini cooper s (bmw) or a Mondeo ST Tdci or loads of others lol.
is this just a seasonal thing do you think?

i actually wanted a pulsar years ago but never got round to it...doubt i'd ever actually buy one though lol.
i love the look of the 3dr but sometimes it'd be nice to get into a fast car that's queit, smooth and has no rattles anywhere!!
i think it's just a phase

bud, maybe you choose the wrong mods for your 3dr then?
i get in mine and bar the exhaust noise, drives like a new car and is squeek free and very comfy (koni's on standard wheels)
maybe u should make the 3dr more road friendly if thats what you want from a car?
big wheels and skinny tyres and hard suspension is never going to be a good compromise if its a road car.

yeah it's defo not road friendly with 18's on 35 profile tyres but it looks good
Dan....TT's rock
part of the problem is it still needs a setup, so i haven't been able to use full boost yet i've only tootled around in it.
once it's setup and hopefully running the 380bhp+ it should then i may be a little happier

Felt the same with my 3 door mate, bought the focus rs , and i doenst know how to break lol looking back i dont know why i bothered witht he 3 door , my saff was good i suppose, but once you get passed the power thing and i really thought about it , i was like why am i wasting my money on this old sierra man !
To say im in love is probably true !
Quiet`ish
Fast , its not 350bhp cossie fast but its bloddy nippy and quick on the back roads !
And tbh not 1 thing i dont like about it !
And my hands not in my pocket every week buying an fixing shit and worrying about where the next rust bubble is going to appear on it or where i have to park it !! blah blah blah !

I sold my 3 dr about 5 months ago after having it for 4yrs & spent a fortune on it with coilovers, big brakes 2 sets of wheels RL7's & hock track wheels with R888,rebuilt the engine etc etc but i also had a 3yr old V70R Volvo & never really wanted to drive the Cossie much as it was so noisey, bumpy it went like stink though. I bought a couple of bits for it that i couldn't even bother to fit they just sat around for months in the garage. I used it about once every 2 weeks for a 30min blast in the evening & had'nt done a trackday for 5 months as it was costing too much. I sold it & a month later bought a 4x4 saph (the GGR one) which i had for 4 months & then sold it to Boschman on here, i hated 4x4 much prefer 2wd. I'm now having a break from cossie's after having one for the last 11 yrs I bought a M3 Evo 1998 S plate coupe in Estoril blue for less than i sold the saph for & its a much better car & so useable as a toy/2nd car, not had to buy anything except tax disc , i would much rather have the M3 as it its more useable but i do miss the power of the Cossie the way it kicked in but i'm much better off money wise don't keep spending on the M3 as it doesn't need modding its brilliant as standard
So yes i sort of lost interest in the Cossie but that doesn't mean i will never buy another ! I would only ever buy another 3dr again though but at the moment i'm happy without owning a Cossie
Cheers Simon.

my saph is nice to drive on the road. no funny noises and drives perfect of boost. i can sit at 35 mph in 5th and its perfectly smooth. if there set up properly they should drive like a normal car off boost.

sold mine after 10years and honestly thought i would start to miss it bigtime by now but i'm not!
i think after a while i will realy miss the power but the constant flow of cash for very lttle mileage outweighs this.
cheap n chearfull track/roadcar and dare i say it an e46 m3 next year for me
