My T-Mobile contract was up and they offered me the N95 on my current price planfor £40 so thought why not. My brother has had a couple of niggly faults but I've heard loads of both good and bad comments. ust waiting for the knock on my door with the delivery. Not bad seeing as I phoned them at 5pm last night

i had a play on my mates and it has a program on it that tracks the route youve been so when you put it on google earth it shows you exact route you travelled and highest/lowest point and also fastest speed
good little feature.
his battery life is getting better as the days go by and i must admit seems a decent phone

I love mine! Hasn't frozen once, isn't slower than any other phone I've ever owned before, does exactly what its supposed to do (which is a damn lot), GPS works very well. I haven't even bothered updating the firmware yet.
The only little niggle I have is the poor battery life but I just make sure I charge the phone every night and I always keep a spare fully charged battery in the car so I'm never stuck with a dead phone

EXCELLENT phone.
Ive had pretty much everything you can imagine over the years and i Love my N95. Its only problem is the poor battery life, although now i have a desktop charger at work that is no longer a problem to me either. Incidentally, it has never crashed or frozen. Those bugs ended when the firmware was upgraded ages ago.
Anyone on old firmware can flash it to the latest one with the nokia PC suite anyway.

Friend of mine upgrade his N73 to an N95 recently, and immediately it was shit - locking up, freezing etc....
So after reading on here about upgrading the firmware we plugged it into his PC and flashed the firmaware from Nokia's site and immediately it was 100% better. In fact I don't think it has locked up/frozen once since then!
I'd like one, but prefer the shape and size of my N73. Just a shame it doesn't have wifi

I went to upgrade my current phone to the N95 on Wednesday and Orange **HIGHLY ADVISED ME NOT TO GET IT**.... They said Nokia have stopped the phone now as they have had too many complaints/recalls with it!!! I was advised to go for the Sony Ericsson K850i which is expected to be the best phone on the market!! But after reading this post i am still really close to phoning up and ordering myself an N95! only time will tell!

orange WILL say that as its more expensive to them than a k850i will be...so would rather give out k850i's than n95s
its a sales blag. although they have had problems with it...

I've got mine recently and as above i love it and its only frozen/restarted once so far but didn't really bother me. Battery life isn't fantastic but i just charge it every night but it depends what you do, if using the net, maps, camera or playing fifa 07/tennis/tiger/worms or using skype then it will hammer it more but then my laptop wouldn't exactly last long doing all that. It doesn't feel slugish when using the features though,
Sadly i can't upgrade my firmware as its on o2 and i would have to remove it the branded software version then put the generic Nokia one on to upgrade to v12. o2 hasn't authorised the upgrade yet. So i think i will hold on till i mess with it.

n95 is a good phone but was released to early as it has lots of software glitches, just nokia trying to make some money before the K850i comes out which will probably not be as good but will be near faultless!!! my advice would be to hold of till the K850i comes out

Only fault I have had with my N95 was a "blown" internal speaker (replaced foc by Orange Care)
This is the speaker for making calls and NOT the video playback speaker
Other than that its superb
I have set mine up to access the net via my home wireless router so free interweb surfing whilst on the bog
