put some octane boost in it all it has done is the light ends in the fuel has died due to the natural water element in the fuel, bang some octane boost in there and give it a good shake about mate should do it

petrol
i bought my lawnmower 18 months ago and bought petrol at same time and im still using the petrol i bought 18 months ago and its fine. and ive got a 325i bmw in one of my sheds and thats been in there for 3 years and that still runs perfect started it last week ran perfect and thats over 3 year old petrol. personally from my experiences i cant see your problem being your petrol.
