replacing floor pan sections
my bro wounts to get aa s1 or simaler to restore but if he needs to replace the floor where you chasie number is stamped would he need it done by a garage or simaler or could he do it him self with aset of stamps

Just replace the section but stamp the number in before he fits it.
DIY no need to go to a garage, but it will look 'odd' anyway.
Just take pictures as he goes, it'll reinforce the value and its identity.
Maybe keep the old section too?
