You need an FTP program or MS Front page or similar. I can't remember how to now though cos it was 2 years ago I did anything with it.

FTP = File transfer protocol, this is a program that is used to upload/manage files on your webspace. You should be able to find a free one easily on google, just search for ftp

You will need an FTP program as above to make it easier.

Put your settings into the program - for blueyonder

you generally need

Hostname: ftp.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk
Username: <alias name>
Password: Your password.

If all is correct the FTP program logs in to your little bit of cyber space.
You can then upload files to it from your computer, and link to them to share with the world.

Your links will look like this
www.<aliasname>.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/mypics.jpg

To create a web page that loads you will need to write some code in HTML and save it with the file extension index.html. This will automatically load as your homepage if you just type www.<aliasname>.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk in the browser.

If its the first time you have used your webspace you may have to delete the file default.htm to be able to view your own files This can be done via the FTP program.

Go get yourself an FTP program, put the settings in and we shall take it from there

Look here for links, details and help
