That's my mate that made that site but I've moaned at him already that someone is making some serious cash out of this because on one of them only Ł1 goes to the charity and they are making Ł2.50(ish) per sticker That stinks in my opinion.

Hi guys
as paul palmer says,it is one of his mates that built the website, that being me

All Vinyls were sent last friday for anyone who ordered up to the 3rd Oct.
Obviously the postal strike hasnt helped

Now to the question that has been raised about the costs involved
YES I am not too happy about the % that goes to the CM charity on the stickers. But I have been assured that should there be a significant amount ordered and they sell all the orders, then they will sharpen their pencils and increase the %. Now on the Vinyl side, the costs involved and % to the charity are far better.
It dosent cost 20 p to make as mentioned on here. They actually cost Ł1.50 per vinyl, we then have about Ł1 in admin,postage and paypal fees to take into account, which still leaves a very healthy % going to the trust. And believe me, no-one is doing this for a fee. The website, the hosting, everyone's time etc has been given FREE.

I am trying to get a sticky on here so everyone can have a direct link to purchase these. We just thought, since Colin had driven for FORD, it was right to give you guys the chance to show your support.

The supplier has asked not to be named, not because of what he is charging, but because he dosent want people to think he is doing this for profit.

Fact is he isn't ...

he is a great rally fan and runs a well known scooby parts business, but the vinyl side he does in his spare time.

I am always looking out for better suppliers, so nothing is set in stone

But TBH when we started this whole sticker in remembrance of Colin over 3 weeks ago, no-one seemed to have an idea of :
a) which was the best design
b) who could make them
c)how to buy them

So I kinda got roped into this purely by the fact that I was the most outspoken one on Scoobynet (I must learn to keep my big mouth shut )

Anyway, hopefully with some decent suppliers and a single point of contact/purchasing, we will raise a LOT of money for the trust.
We are nearing the Ł1000 mark already
