250bhp my arse ??

stock?? are they?? thats what my mate rekons, i thought they were 210ish??

he also rekons a conti gt is a v8?!! he is dead set on both of these,

the conti gt is a w12!!
just aint sure bout the power of the vaux altho i know it aint 250

Im as sure Calibra Turbos arnt 250bhp as I am that BMW in your sig isnt yours.

204bhp, a chip that you can buy on ebay for 40 quid takes them to 250bhp though without any other changes, so more or less they are 250 as standard effectively TBH

Spend a few hundred more on an intercooler and a different chip, and they are 280 or so

204 is the book figure, like any car they vary slightly from it.

190 would be low though IME

my mates cav is 440bhp he had it on the rollers.hes spent thous on it .and its in an sri cav i will get some pics of it and the bhp sheet

Don't worry about it. Just race him in your Dads car and show him who's boss

iir they are quoted at about 204bhp at the flywheel but like any car there will be a degree of intolerance and some cars will make a bit less, some a bit more.

Mines the British equivilent, PubHorsePower.... much like the Euro PS unit.... its like Bhp but you multiply it by 3.5 to sound even more impressive to your mates. I bet the guy has an imaginary or Emperors 'External wastegate' as well.

This is a increasingly popular mod.... adds loads of Php to your car

I was serious, you really CAN just chuck a chip off ebay in and see 250bhp, I wasnt taking the piss about resistor mod chips etc.
