coco16i Pauls free to say what he thinks mate. Tbh i have even more respect for him, for not making money off somone he didnt like when he could have done very easily.

I thought George Best was a total waster, just because he is dead i am not going to say anything different incase i offend anyone.

If i had the opportunity to make money out of someone i genuinely disliked then i would jump at the chance.


Cant understand what there is to dislike about Colin Mcrae anyway cos i have never met a more approaceable and down to earth "superstar" in all my time. Spoke to you as if you were a normal guy just like he was and never looked down on anyone unlike most professional sportsmen who think they are something better than they are.


Colin Mcrae was a Scottish icon and hero to millions all around the world and someone that had achieved sucess to the level he did deserves total respect and his comment about it being no big loss was bang out of order.

As for george best , his life was a waste he didnt deserve it , he wasred his talent and threw his life down his own neck , Colin and Richard for that matter had their lives stolen away

Some people have requested clear backgrounds with jsut text which isnt a problem, but would've thought it be nicer having a coloured background, be it plain or with a photoshopped image. On some cars the clear background may look funny??

With regards to Pauls comments, everyone is entitled to make their own opinions arent they? I for one am gutted it has happened, but no more gutted than the likes of Pavarotti etc passing away as well........

I made one up for myself, pinched the idea from north American Subaru forum. I am, unfortunately NOT in a position to make any more. Its my own wee tribute.

Incidentally, the fact that Coco and others including me, are a bit miffed at Paul's comments are that they pertain directly to Colin McRae, that is callous and insensitive imo he does, however express condolences for the other people affected by the tragedy Regardless whether he was a fan or not a little more decorum would have been appreciated. He could have chosen his words more carefully. As mentioned before he his entitled to his opinion so is everyone else.

Hmmmmmmmmm. Freedom of speech!!! I can see where Paul is coming from as i've had a similar experience with a celeb too and I couldnt give a fook what happens to her too. I think, yes he should of worded his comment differently or maybe kept it to himself with knowing how many people would be upset. But hes entitled to his OPINION! and i think some of the comments on here ie, abusive and threatening( Knocking your teeth out!. Are worse than the comment made by sticky).

I totally agree. I couldnt give a fook about bests fans, he was a cunt who wasted a liver what someone else could have had. Its the same thing, if Paul didnt like Colin, then to Paul its no loss at all and why should he give a fook!

Fair enough if for whatever reason he didnt like Colin ( and i would like to know the reason for it cos if he had ever actually met and spoken to the man i dont for one minute believe he would have a reason to not like him ) but there was no need to say what he did, totally insensative and un called for considering all the other comments on the thread were about sheer shock, disbelief and despair over what had happened.

I would be interested in any stickers to remember Colin buy. I'd happily buy a batch of 5 for my cars in the future.

I think ones along the lines of the original Richard Burns ones would be best. Cut vinyl (or clear background), with signature, name and dates.
