Default tightening conrod bolts

A mate of mine is rebuilding a peugeot gti6 something or other engine... when bolting the conrods up to the crank he's checked several references and they all say tighten to XXXNm and then an additional 70 degrees.

is it literally just what it sounds like?

i.e. torque them all up to the specified setting and then once they're all done turn each one an additional 70 deg. clockwise?

thanks,

mark.

Yes the Torque Turn method, supposed to be more accurate.

Common with stretch bolts, almost never used on ARP's etc though
