ive spent too much to add up on my saff ,i cant even bear to think how much ,but for the first time today i really am considering selling it

at its current spec i now consider it finished, its reliable, goes like stink, i have 100% out of the turbo,

but how the hell do i value it?

Look at current prices for similar spec'd cossies and then cry at what a loss you'll make

i dont really know why, i think its just having a new house being built ,i want to concentrate on that for a while now, and if i dont concentrate 100% on the cossie, it wouldnt be the car i want it too if that makes sense,

at the mo i spend whatever i want ,when ever i want on the car, so if anything goes wrong etc its done the same day near enough , i know if i dont do that or have the time to do it ,the car would start to drop standard and i dont want to see that happen. i use it every day, i dont belive in having a car and not using it, so if it comes to that i would let someone buy it who can give it what it needs

i love it to bits, but its kind of the end of a project ,unless i start over with a new spec.

If you start over with a new spec James then you'll be ploughing yet more money into it mate!

why not just drive and enjoy it for a while for what it is if you've got it how you like it now?

because it will eat more money ,it is a cossie after all

i just dont want to be in the position ,that i walk out in a years time and look at the car. and its in a state because i havent looked after it as i do now. imo unless you look after a cossie really well and spend time on it every week or day even ,it would become ropey quite quickly, and i may never be able to get it back to what it is now

I believe the value of the XR range is assessed by weight?

If i were you, i'd just put it away for a while, concentrate on the house and bring the Saff out now and again, THEN you'll appreciate it for what it is..

Jase mine is coming off the road in January for 12months because i want a house aswell.

The way i look at it is, theres no point selling the piece of shit as i will just want another in 18months time. If i had another it would have to be bigger and better than the one i have now and cost me even more.

In the end do whats best for you mate.

I know this is off YOUR topic slightly Jase, but when i sold my 3dr and bought what imo was the best Evo going a TME i thought i'd never want nothing else, after 6 months, YES, i wanted another cossie thankfully i got my hands on this one. Yes i know it's not the same as getting a house bla bla, but don't make any rash decisions mate..

Right, i'm off to watch Corrie and Eastenders............

As per our tel con, matey - moth ball it, and get her out once you realise that any other car will feel utterly useless by comparison!
