Default Boost threshold/Lag etc

If a car makes full boost at say 3k rpm and starts to make positive boost at say 2k rpm is that effectivly the threshold?

And lag... is this the time it takes to develop full boost when above 2k rpm or when holding the revs at 3k rpm and then flooring and watching the boost rise 'till full boost is reached?

Hope that all makes sense

The boost threshold is the point it makes FULL boost from.

Lag is the time it takes to recover the boost when you come off the throttle (i.e. changing gear, lifting off for a corner), but whilst WITHIN the boost threshold.

There's a small thread on here somewhere about this .

I can remember that but couldn't be arsed to find it and sift (sp) through all the crap to get my answer. So started this thread to get a quick, to-the-point answer which you've given me mike
