agreed, AVP was awful.....i thought it could have been brill...but the direction and acting was dreadful.

Alien, aliens, alien 3 - all good films

predator 1 and 2 - both good films

(we'll try and forget alien ressurection )

 

well i enjoyed them

they are a very good film i think

plus it should explain why there were dead predators on the ship of alien well hopefully

I liked AVP, but then again I am a bit of a comic fan of the series and thats kinda the audience it was aimed at!

AVP2 looks fucking brutal, 16 people got in in the trailer alone!

And it this one has got an 18 rating right out the box too, so no fucking about with 15 ratings, its gonna be messy just like the old ones

 

I like all the Alien and predator films except the first Alien one... not my thing.

iirc in the last film. the dead predator had a hybrid alien burst out of its chest.as the space ship left earth..

so i suppose it will turn around and crash into earth again

AVP was crap, but I love the Alien films so I will be watching it. Does look to clean and light to be a proper gritty alien film though.
And it better not be cheesy as fook like the last avp, dont hold much hope after that trailer though

A new Aliens game is in the making, not much info on it yet, now thats something to get excited about

the thing is that no one actually takes the time to eralise that the comics that spawned the films have a time line that goes:

predators go to various different planets to hunt
predators created the alien (a living battery, which is why the blood is acid and it doesn't need to wear a space suit and can survive in space) as the ultimate advisary (as you can see in avp when things went wrong they fucked everyone off) so they would realese an alien queen onto a planet, and then hunt the offspring

the alien chest bursters evolve to resemble whatever creature was attacked in the first place, which is why, in a3 one of thm takes the stance of a dog while the rest tend to be more humaniod in appearance

im massive fan of the aliens and predator films,used to play the game avp2 online too but thought avp the film was pretty cack tbh hope this ones better

i'll go and hunt some older issues out, they are from the late 80's early 90's so they may be at the bottom of a plie of stuff
