106/saxo V 205

Default 106/saxo V 205
is there much in it for handling between these? I want to try a 106/saxo with a bit of poke so I'm considering the gti/vts, but for the same money you can get a 205 Mi16!

I know the 205 will be quicker in a straight line but I'm not overly bothered about that as there arent many straight roads around here so which one is capable of carrying the most corner speed? 205 or the newer 106/saxo?

If they're all pretty much similar then I'll go for the newer 106/saxo as its a daily driver so I'd rather be driving something a bit newer and comfier!

dunno if you've seen the other saxo/106 thread thats about but they make good daily cars thats for sure

I have a vts now for day to day but i'd still prefer to have my MI 205 that i sold before that tho

I've had a (1992) 106 XSi and a 205 Mi16 and the 205 was wahay more fun. But, its a bit hard to compare as the 106 was a 1.4 100bhp standard car and the 205 was stripped, caged, and 160bhp!

Bang for buck though the 205 has been my favourite car
