fuck all on most cars tbh,,,, if we are talking about 700bhp engines they yeah i can see the ignition ect would be a issue,,, think rod ALSO has a seperate ignition amp onto of hes autronnic dont he

everyones cars that are proved dave aint standard engines with a management swop,,,,, they are highly modded cars with autronic,, bet if they was PAYED to have meggasquirt they would see similer results,,,, but it aint gonna happen to prove it

has to be said that management is only as good as the person mapping it,,,, that means MOST aftermarkets will not be as good as factory UNLESS the guy tuning it understands it and also sets it all up proper rather than a base map and tweek certain areas,, cold starts ect are where the time and skill get involved and MOST cars ive seen on aftermarket LACK them

Yes we have Autronic 500R direct fire CDI unit
And me dave if you used yours much yet you'll notice that it really works that well will be nice even driven slow aswell as hard and fuel consumption can also be very good when driven right

What other system can you down load your map then email to THE UK expert for him to have a look at ten o clock at nite?
Mark is the reason ive gone for autronic, simply cause no other ECU can offer me someone with so much knowledge who is so approachable, if it wasnt for him, I probably would have chosen something else.

You would have been in the same boat with Pectel as there are plenty of knowledgable folk who could help with any aspect, also Pectel themselves will help too.

You just edited my quote and made it no longer true before you replied to it.

Its NOT just the knowledge Mark has, its the fact I can phone him at 9pm when Ive got a problem and he'll still talk to me about it.

Motec / Dta / Pectel all have their respective experts, I just dont know of any who are as good as Mark AND as approachable as him.

It was not meant to come across that way!

All I'm saying is that there are plenty of people in the industry that will help with their chosen ECU and also if needed would pick up the phone at 9pm.

But as long as you're happy with what you have and it works fine then who really cares what ECU make you have.

Any that you would be happy to recomend as willing to do that for all customers, not just someone like yourself that they know?
(serious question, I dont mean that to be a sarky question even though it may read that way, but this thread would be a lot more useful with that info in it!)
