CCC is no more, but thier techy guy DAVE WALKER is alive and kicking, in Watton, Norfolkshire, where he runs EMERALDM3DK.COM, an inhouse designed ECU with all the bells and whistles.
He writes for PPC, he did not like the direction CCC was going focussing more and more on big budget cars(track).
He has a racing xr2 that is still stickered up with CCC, it is being made ready for racing as his apprentice/work experience person is going to be racing it.
He has a business partner KARL, is is the electronics god behind ecu etc, plus some upcoming stuff, Karl does not like being disturbed to the extent he does not even accept phone calls!!
Charlie, a writer for the mag has just put a 27litre meteor/merlin engine in a stretched rover sd1, and it's road legal.
It is an ace mag, just get one copy you will be hooked.

but ppc is more of a "lets see what sort of bonkers cars we can make today" typically a scirocco with the audi a8 4.2 engine and quatro running gear

Yes it is called something along those lines, and why certain people left the CCC.

im very anti max power but in a moment of boredom i bought a (new look) redline and was pleasantly supprised by how good it was.

gone are 1.3 tupper ware boxes and hello to event reports such as time attack and comparing the new corsa vxr to all the old models
