The big explosion near my home town
ICI has blown up, its on sky news, those of you who dont no it made bombs for the war, the fire is fucken huge

Sounds nasty, I'm sure they'll have some sort of contingency in place for when it sets on fire (I mean with the bombs!)

Im not 100% sure what they do now but theres not alot of people work in it now but back in the day there was some 2500
Ive done a few bits and bobs in it contracting, fitting ventilation in the det bunkers and stuff but its the plant its self stretches for a few miles
Heres a couple of pics from my phone i took, as i said im at least 2 and a half miles away, and about an hour after it hapend so the flames are smaller than at first so the other people told me

I remember years ago there was an almighty explosion about 4 or 5 in the morning. Somebody had made one big balls up and the explosion was the end product.
Also when the factory was in full swing, there were many people who lost fingers in explosions.

it means that the people of the bottom end of stevenston will have some entertainment on a Saturday night.
I guess the people that stay within the 3 towns will know that bottom enders are the people who stay down the bottom end of the town.
It is not a dig in any way at the bottom end as I would have been referred as a top ender when I stayed at the top end of Stevenston .
