TBH, even at Ford Fair / Trax I never bother walking around

I either go for the track action, or just to chill in the sun with a BBQ

We sold our tickets this year, etiquette on track was bad enough at Ford Fair let alone at Trax with the Michael Schumacher wannabes (although if they were weighed down with fibreglass and ICE may have had a chance )

Max Poo fibreglass fest not my thing - actually I must apologise to Max Power it, like Redline, have smartered up their act lately and, dare I say, looks like a decent mag these days..

Just got back from Trax, made the most of the day,, Big thanks for Simon for inviting me on the stand.

Cant really comment on the show as didnt even look around, spent all day in the stand watching track action, chatting to peeps about the car on Fast Fords stand and then out on track myself... Getting the handling dialled in now but still issues with lack of revs top end..

New head could be on its way i think

Dan (cossiedrift) was in the white 3 door with zebra stripes - he was loving some drifting and managed to trash a set of tyres before getting serious and putting the r888's on and showing those Jap boys a blue oval is still a track warrior.

Il post vids once loaded.

was very chavy but if you go on track and do your
thang its just great to get ya car round the full
international circuit. very quick too!
that last bend before start/finish nearly had me
last year. no matter how close i got to the pit wall
for the apex i have to let off otherwise its 2 wheels
on the grass very hairy high speed moments.
track action is the nuts

Pete,

You left way too early.

Most of the track action was immense, particularly m4dyeti aka Kev from Shameless aka Luke's mate, Dan aka cossiedrift. Legend!

I enjoyed it more this year than last, and will probably go again next year. For me it was a lot less Max Power/Blazin Squad than last year. Yes there was a lot of audio stuff, but some people are really into their audio and actually enjoy this part of the show. When you look closely at the effort that some of these owners put into the finishes of their cars it is mighty impressive. It certainly appeals to me more than seeing a gleaming Ford that is spotless underneath and has been trailered to the show to win concours etc. I prefer to see cars that look nice but you can see are driven as they were designed to be.

Apart from that, the drifting was spot on and the track action was also very good. It's nice to see all the Ford's giving their Jap rivals a good pasting on track.

BTW, how fast was the ABC Motorsport Saph?? It was rapid coming out of the last corners then onto the pit straight! It sounded awesome too.
