Default insurance

does any one know what insurance say if you want to change an engine for a bigger one. i know most people dont bother sayin but just wondered.
i want to put a 1.8 or 2.0 in my xr2.
any advice would be great

If you don't bother saying your fucked if you have a crash. You will be paying money into an insurance policy that essentially doesn't exist, as it will be void

they will probably want u to take it somewhere to get inspected!!!changing the subject slightly i heard that boncastor(through the rsoc)wont insure cossies on grey injectors does anyone know if this true??

hic insured my rs turbo with a 2.1 zvh and different engine management in it no problem

best to declare it just in case.you might find it doesnt make that much of a difference. mine went from £515 fully comp with the standard bmw 2.5 engine and only went up £115 to £630 with the cossie engine declared and they didnt ask for an engineers report.

if i did put a zetec in the fiesta whats the best way of going about tyhe fuel system. i cant afford carbs and management so would have to keep the injection. would i have to change the fuel tank to get swirl pot or have one in the engine bay and use a carb pump from the fuel tank
