Is the escort rs2ooo MTX75 box exactly the same as the mondeo box's

ratios etc all the same or is there a difference ??

Slightly diffrent ratios. Why????

Thinkin on gettin a spare box for mine to put in shed and when clutch gets changed at some point change box and pull apart so i can learn about boxes etc

also theres a damn sight more chance of the mondeo box not being treated like shite

I have a good MTX75 box from a 1.8TD - slightly longer ratio in 5th means nice low revs on a petrol engine

mondeo is cable selected and rs2000 /escort TD is a rod, no ?

Mk1 Mondeo is also rod connected and MK2's are cable.

Escort has a big bar to move the cogs
