as far as i know the xr3i ones are slightly different

you can run standard pump way up to 300bhp, easy.

400bhp saffs still use the standard pump, well up to the job, just the wiring usually isnt

when i got my car setup it only made 154 bhp but i was told the pump couldnt cope with any more boost so its only set at 11psi,im running efi though if that would make much difference,my car has got a jamsport head, piper 285t2 cam, vernier wheel, beige injectors, large front mount intercooler, air filter, exhaust, standard saab t3 with .48 exhaust housing and its running on ofac managent with a 195 chip,i was hoping for a bit closer to 200bhp,compression is a bit low aswell 3 cylinders were at 110psi and the other was 120psi so dont know if that would effect the power that much

Do some tests on your pump, it might just be getting tired. Volt drop and amps draw.

matters what boost you need to run at to achieve the power.

As said, Check voltage at pump @ full load,

also check flow/min
and check/renew filter

rst pumps are batter than xr3i

your not running an intank pump are you?

if not then get a cossie pump it will bolt straight up and give the wiring a new lease of life

my car std mfi rst running 14 psi made 190bhp and 206lbs of toruqe at jamsport

so yours has problems somewhere

what has jamsport said it could be

i couldnt get my car to jamsport in the end so had to go to frankenstien motorsport, they just said the pump wasnt pumping enough fuel to be able to turn the boost up a bit more,im going to change it to ofab now anyway so will just get hold of a cossie pump when ive got a 3 bar map sensor aswell,no im not running an in tank pump,i only asked about the xr3i pump as ive got an efi xr3i here that im braking so could hav just swapped the tanks
