They got a solid axle on the back, so no, but the engine and front stuff will.

Before you think its a good idea (i did at one point), get the sierra haynes manual and look what they weigh, if i remember right, over 1400kg!

about 200kg more than your average sierra/saph

If its 200kg more than a normal saph, wouldnt the fact u are ditching all the rear trim and seats help to offset some of it

bloke down my road did this with a p100, sprayed it baby blue sorta colour on escos rims, was in pf i believe. im sure he used the 2wd stuff might be worth trying to find out his contact details from some1 at pf and ask because his motor was gorgeous!

What rear seats and trim, its got none, its a pickup

Craig- Nope they have no rear susp turrets, thats the whole point of them having a rear axle, to not need rear turrets as that would take up space the pickup bed should be in...

Ok, i have a P100 weighing 1400kg, i have seats from a 1200kg saff, if i DONT put the rear seats from a saff into a P100 that was 1400kg without rear seats, itl magicly be lighter will it? PMSL

Wow, im going to lighten my car by NOT putting some seats from a Mini in it and not removing anything, as a minis even lighter, it should lose even more weight than not putting rear seats in a P100 will

Lewis- If you want somthing that heavy and 90s, do it, why do you need to have cossie rear susp, cars CAN handle good on leaf springs and live axle you know, maybe not as good as a cossie with proper susp tho, esp as they heavy old trucks.

dave works in a bodyshop/knows how to weld etc so i presume he would have made up the turrets himself

it says in the issue how the rear was set up if you can find it lol

I got a July 2001 Perf Ford here with a VERY cool yellow cossie P100...

And yup, solid rear axle on there, far as i know they ALL keep them, this ones got an Atlas LSD axle on there.

Everything else on it is cossie barring the hubs which are 5 stud granada ones

no imsure its a 4 stud trasnit hub conversion as they do have 5 stud transit hubs

ya ment to do the same on scorpios too ( or was that to fit 5 stud wheels on a sierra,but then why would ya do that )

Dont get a p100 lewis... look and are so slow due to the extra weight!!

We had a stage 3 one turn up at the Beds meet just after I had my car tuned by karl @ 18 psi, Steve@SCC took my car out and sat on his bumper all the way up the A517 (or better known as our test track )

Escort cossie mate, you know it makes sence!! just dont get a dark blue one or there will be trouble

you could install an estate rear end as this has a form of coil over set up in the rear arm where just the coil sits on the cossie set up, so no need for turrets and then just bang in the cossie diff shafts etc which will fit the estate rear end therfore providing an independant rear suspension with a cossie diff and brakes.

well what a intresting read!
well the reason there a little heavery is due to the chassie its self its 3 times the size of a saff, also the rear body weighs lots, but replace most of the rear body of the p100 for fiberglss fit a cossie lump and say bye to all them saff`s.
as for a rear axel you use one off a capri. theres lots about that are also splippers
(lsd)
