Default FFS!! Remortgages!! Continued.......3/9

I need to release some steam!!!

I'm in the process of remortgaing and it seems to be dragging along like these things tend to do, but just to add insult to injury......

My IFA dealing with the remortgage = Gone on holiday
My Solicitor dealing with the remortgage = Gone on Holiday

So thats things on hold for another 7 - 14 days while their sunning themselves

Bloody typical aint it

Anyone know how long it takes once the offer had been recivied from the mortgage company?

Just got my mortgage from application to completion through in 4 and half weeks. Get the keys to new place on Friday

Helps that the missus works for an IFA though lol.

From past experience they take from 2 to 4 weeks from offer. Do you know who your mortgage is going to be with. If so ring them direct

Shut it schlaaag! I knew some smart arse would come back with that

I rang my solicitor yesterday and left a voicemail as i needed to ask him a few things and it was the standard voicemail, today its changed to 'I'm sunning my over paid arse somewhere hot for the next week, laters!'

Nice of him to get back to me before he buggered off

Anna

You would be suprised....

The amount of people who dont actually know who they are getting the actual mortgage from as the broker deals with it is suprising. Also not every broker releases the contact details of the provider to the client.

If its free legals your getting then you can go over the solicitors head and direct to provider.

As for genius... wouldnt go that far but working on it
