450BHP what sort off top speed

Default 450BHP what sort off top speed

When the RS500 returns
around the 450 BHP mark what would be the top speed around
8 greens T4 28psi
just wondered hope it was the clutch cable that broke not the clutch

If distance isnt an issue you will hit the limiter in top if you got normal gear ratios.

An RS500 should do 175mph if on standard gearing and has suitable size wheels / tyres / high enough rev limit.

Aren't you on stupid high compression, so NOT surprised . I bet even at 1.8 bar the ignition is in single figures .

With 215s and standard gearing, you would need to pull just over 7200 in fifth to see 175mph.

The comp is higher but wanted it to pull quicker just got to pick up the car now

Which you did with 385 bhp Mike...........

Don't know what your gearing was like though..

Staffi,
I was running 3.36 final drive, so only had to pull just over 6500rpm to achieve 172mph (which is where peak power was as well) . Don't forget the RS500 has extra drag due to the rear lip on the boot and top of the wing.
