Default fitting paddle clutchs how long?

how long would you say a reputable garage should take to fit a paddle clutch to series 1? i am being charged 4 hours labour? is that right?

seems reasonable to me from start to finish road tested and all tools away

they do take 4 hours to fit then? so your really looking at 600 - 700 buying and fitted?

no it doesn't take 4 hours can be done in a lot less 4 hours is a reasonable time allowance allowing for problems and clearing up and checking of everything whilst it is bits.
would you be happy if some one did it in an hour rushed round and made mistakes but he only charged 50 quid

£250 for the clutch

£50 +vat x 4 hours labour

bout £500 all in

oh right just shocked me took so long wats so different ftting a paddle then a standard? i thought an hour or 2 tops not 4, 4 is long time

w echarge 195 +vat for the labour no matter how long it takes series 1 series 2 abs non abs .
Does anyone care how long it takes to do the job or do they care more how much it costs.

If you can do an RS turbo clutch in an hour, reliabley every time, then fuck me whatever other business you are in its the wrong one!
