If your going to buy a Fes rst - you need to pay £3-4k to get one thats not going t give you grief will get a good spec one too.
Id look for a RS1800 get the last made then should be rot free and you can sling a Turbo on it.
Or keep what you got like Si says, far cooler,

i was thinking of putting one in mine, and was going to look for one to buy (rs turbo engine) and got a quote for everythink to be fitted for 500. but then loads on here was like na na dont bother etc just buy one, but i wont get the money back like i would from a genuine rst.
btw your frst is probs the best looking frst ive seen...love it!

Thing you have to remember is once you get to a certain standard of car the shell i.d almost becomes irelevant its the goodies on it that makes a car worth the money.
If your building a track car then shells a shell.
If your building a road/ show car then perhaps the genuine rs i.d is a good idea.

The ebay one in the flesh looks shit (see it in clacton on monday).Only thing going for it is the rims 
If you want a nice frst then you will have to spend 3k+ unless your lucky.
Avoid ebay as most cars are complete shitters and look on dedicated ford/fiesta forums.

The biggest problems with Fiestas is rot.
Without looking underneath and having a poke around its
very hard to say what its worth.
But if its on e-bay then not alot
