it makes a change to see it from the inside, just goes to show you how hard the driver works to get it sideways and back.

great fun to read this, appreciate the response.
Although the power was only nearly 300bhp it worked quite well around the track, mostly due to the winter tyres which was used and mild anti-lag which provided power after braking out the car towards the corner.

I have another movie here if you want.

going for 5-600hp and 4wheel spinn next year (vids above is only 3wheel spin )

why did you PM me the answer my question via PM and not on here?

i was not aware that jano wrote his own cossie chips.

do you know who wrote the original software on these chips (or are they written from scratch?) and are they available for all flavours of cosworth ECU?

Also is engine advantages still trading or have they been closed down by trading standards?

4wd means you can do stupid angle, way past what the steering can, and still recover.
Check out this one, fast forward to 4min on as he warming up for the earlier part.
Well over 90deg at times and still recovers it.

Cool video. Can see from the footage he's actually understeering slightly whilst going sideways if that makes sense.

Cool video. Can see from the footage he's actually understeering slightly whilst going sideways if that makes sense.
Trouble is that the original 4x4 rear diff doesnt lock up as much as desired, therefore the rear end wants to get back in place, and the way to counter this is to left foot bracke while having full throtle and steer in to the corner. (not so easy to explain)

Makes it look so easy!
It really is, unlike 2wd most of the tricky work is done with the pedals.

Check out this one, fast forward to 4min on as he warming up for the earlier part.

if youre way over 90 degrees sideways you are going slow, and also thats the way you have to do it with audi 50/50 split.
Compare hafsengens speed around "breisladden" with Alm (the driver on the youtube clip stavros pasted) and you'll understand what proper 4wd sideways is
