Ok Guys,
Seems we are running into problems here with peoples perception of PassionFord moderation with regards to teh recent "Tuner Warfare" for want of a better term.. lol

Please allow me to elaborate on the current situation as it stands.
I personally have been getting tired with the constant bickering from various tuners customers on here, and more importantly, the way it is impeding over onto my Business E-Mail and on 1 occasion an unwelcome telephone call accusing me of, and i quote:
"Are you allowing this badmouthing to happen so you get more work? Are you that quiet?"

Lets get one thing quite clear here folks. PassionFord was started because i have a genuine passion for fords, and i have many friends amongst you whom i didnt want to lose touch with when the RSBB began to fail. There is NO business connection between PassionFord & my company Motorsport Developments, my brand name Evolution Chips or my business partner Kenny. The fact is, i have work to do running a business in teh daytime and quite often the evening and the constant bickering and corresponding complaints via:
Business Telephone, Pm, Business E-mail and even SMS
are affecting my available working time and ive decided it has to STOP NOW.
The observant amongst you will notice that after some 13months of doing it, i have now stopped collecting Gold Memberships and asked Pet to do a Paypal system to take the load of my working day... Thats how much the administration of this forum is starting to get to me

So..
Recently ive been getting more and more affected by it to teh point i was saying to Gus;
"I may call PF a day now and bow out pal cos im not getting enough work done"
At this point Gus kindly vowed to put an end to these daft problems that are being caused for me by an internet site and the results are now there for all to see. Gus is simply a good friend and customer who is doing a thankless task with my FULL backing, so its made me sad to see many of you having cruel digs at him for using his moderation powers to the full.
Well i still love ya Gus.. fook em pal!

I back ALL my webteam 100%, even if i think they could have handled things differently, because they are unpaid for their efforts and they do a great job, often causing problems in their own personal lives in order to back up my own rules and regulations.

What id like to do now is this:
Im going to reverse all the bans that have been made on both sides of the fence and direct the members in question to this post so they understand whats been going on and how this new vigilance came about.

I hope that the people involved will call it a day and agree to either:
A) Get on together as petrolheads should.
B) Avoid each others topics.

I must make it clear however that if there are any more arguments or put downs on anyside of any fence, i will be very unhappy and be forced to take whatever action i feel is necessary and for the overall good of the many, not the few. Please remember passionFord averages 1400 DIFFERENT visitors every single day.. its these peoples enjoyment whom the rules are there to protect.

I have spoken personally to ROD who had the gumption to call me personally and explained my situation, unfortunately i dont have time to personally speak to many others but if anyone wishes to call me today before 1pm, please feel free.

I hope this sheds some light on the reason for the perhaps unexpected current vigilance. Dont blame the moderators as they are simply following my wishes to stamp out all teh recent bickering and bad feeling. Thanks for reading.

P.S:
Edited to point something out: Ive just been reading another Complaining pm that has reminded me to point something out. Ive been accused off having a webteam Biased Towards One tuner....
So Far we have:
Adam - none?
GUS - MSD
Tiff - NMS
Pops - NMS
Lewis - none?
Nikteazer - none?

So wheres the Bias? I think its imaginary to be honest fellas.

RSGus...damn fine moderator Thats all i can say re mods that actually have a regular input......except i note that Tiff/Pops/Gus only mainly moderate at NIGHT...who does daytime?

During the day posting for me is good...but then when Tiff/Pops come in...heavy moderation That suggests something wrong!...Never used to be like that...as my posts are far from offensive IMO.


As for your business....you did good by setting this site up and cant beleive that you and Kenny never once said or thought...hey this is a gilt edged chance for more business Well thats what you always seem to say...

Okay dont always agree with some of the moderators comments or actions.

But 90 percent of the time they are afir and unbias,but atleast on this site we have the chance to air our views about em.As some sites you cant.

After all they are human at the end of the day so so yes they might stick up for thier tuner or freinds.But they do their best to keep the peace and be neutral.

Only met a couple of the mods and in real life they they are nice genuine car ethusiasts thats what matters at the end of the day

Perhaps Stu & Kenny have done well buniness wise because of PassionFord - but then so have many other tuners/suppliers. If MSD did not offer a first class service & goods then I could understand your concern....BUT they do well because of the QUALITY of the goods and services they offer. If they failed In that area then the PF forum would be of benifit to them would it?

Not strictly true Stu.....I'm biased toward MSD he he! But joking aside, I haven't been around to witness most of the crap thats been going on, and I can honestly say I'm glad! But when I left for a while things were going from strength to strength! Jules and yourself overcoming some massive disagreements, IMA kind of behaving....to the point we even tried to get him to come and join the central day extravaganza! new members joining in their droves, and PF overall a happy, informative, friendly place to be! Having had time off to struggle with the 'real' world for a while it puts forum arguements completely in perspective!!

I just hope everyone can either agree to disagree, and get on with what is the biggest and best forum on the web!

BIG to everyone involved in running this forum,have seen the amount of grief and criticism you all get at one time or another,personally i just could not be arsed with it and would pack it all in or let someone else handle it.
Best forum i use,haven't been on much lately cos i've got a lot going on in "real life" just now....always feel at home when i come back tho,that says it all to me!

I personally think this is one of the best BBs on the net, I visit a fair few and on here there is such a diverse community it's amazing.
Moderators do a job, sometimes good sometimes bad, but this tends to be in the opinion of the poster and no-one else.

Well I like coming in here. Don't know anyone personally, but I help when I can.

Anyone who moans about something they get for nothing can leave - no great loss to those of us that are left.
Folks that pay for it are entitled to get what they pay for - nothing more, nothing less. And I didn't see anything that said paying members can use the site to engage in keyboard warfare.

TBH i think this is a great BB, ive been a regular on escortevo for 2 years now, always will be cos i think that is great, but now ive got a RST, im on here just as much, it really does make me laugh out loud sometimes, with comments from various people. I have found over the last few days that the argumenst get a little boring and repetitive, but i just go onto another subject as soon as i see it starting. I think the mods do a great job.

One more thing, for anyone to suggest that stu runs this board to help his business is fookin cheeky if you ask me, it seems quite clear to a relative newbie liek me that he doenst need help, his work talks for itself!! Keep it up Stu

Surely, those who regularly find their posts end up in the sin bin should learn from it and figure out where they are going wrong. It really is not that difficult is it ?

There is nothing I am unhappy to read on this forum, so the mods do a great job as far as I am concerned.

The whole tuner vs tuner is really getting boring and childish now, just grow up and accept each other's differences please...
