Default Any Car Alarm Know How People!!!!

i have a clifford alarm awith the dual proximities and its strated going a bit mad

the proximity alert keeps going off even when there no one anywhere near it

any one know what it could be? its really pissing me off

hav eyou ajusted it right down to see if it stops.. is the actual alarm triggering or just the perimiter warning....?

belive it or not i had a mouse inthe car i didnt know about that was triggering the perimiter ..

Many things can set the Proximity sensors off, such as certain types of light, shadows, vibrations (cars/buses going past) etc etc.

I think it is just set overly sensitive.

Also, could the car battery be low in voltage? This plays havoc with Cliffords.

i havn't adjusted the sensitivity.

its just the proxiity chirp that keeps sounding not the alarm.

funny thing about the mouse as my mate just told me he had a moth in his car and it kept setting of the proxi warnings

My bro knows about that Clifford squeeling its knackers off at 4:00am and not enough voltage in the battery to disarm the alarm or get in the doors

Neighbours were not impressed

if i left mine on the drive,parked next to the kitchen ,when ever the microwave was used it would set of the chirps!

and if you have a radar detector the detector picks up the microwavefrom the prox and beeps oll the time , i had to fit an interposing relay in mine that dropped the power to the microwave unit when the ignition was on
