Stafford
Live near Cannock myself so not too far. Do tend to drink over Stafford as always have since I could! Went to college there.
Forget Zanzibar unless your 18-20 IMHO.
Better off with the Swan Hotel bar, Appre and a few others then the last few in Aggado - aka The Rock Cafe/New York New York.
Age range is 21/22 plus in those.
Depends what your after.

Well thats a bit gay, I'm too young to be stuck in the countryside Some cracking roads round there to keep me entertained no doubt, too bad theres a police headquarters about 400m away from where I'm staying
Never tried an oatcake, my mate is always going on about how nice they are with bacon and cheese in them. Don't sound like my sort of thing!

They are great, my cousins live in Alsager so im up there all the time. You can get an alld ay breakfast oakcake (its basically a pancake but dont ever say that to anyone from staffs or they will break your face).
If you are going to a new place, always check out the local cuisine. We got leathered in this pub and got an eat in Curry at 1:00 in the morning. I know to most people this is probably quite normal but I live in Milton Keynes and the only thing you can get at that time is Smackdonalds. I was impressed anyway.
Not really been out clubbing up there, think there as some clubs in Hanley but no reviews

Gary_R Ive lived in stafford up until 12 months ago and i now live in crewe
I take it your moving to the wildwood/baswich area then, as thats near the police headquarters, Zanibar is shite, chicago is ok, wetherspoons has cheap beer, the litten tree is ok shows alot of football etc, the swan is expensive, the bear is ok, they have a wine bar type bar opposite woolies.
In all its ok to drink around stafford, it has alot of choice to go for a beer.
Hope this helps

Been in Stafford now for almost a month now and I'm quite liking it. Its a very cycle friendly and so I've been using my bike to get to most places. The people are quite polite too, and the girls actually have some brains unlike those daft stokies
I even chained my expensive bike up in town while I went the bank and a few shops and when I came out it was still there, speedo, lights n all; can't do that in Liverpool!
