I thought you were going to ask for things to do and see around there to keep you occupied for the two weeks.

I live next to it in Bawtry. As Brian said or go south onto the A1 and down to Blyth roundabout and turn left on the roundabout to Bawtry the first one down and is sign posted from there. Both directions though have major hold ups at times due to road works. Also one of the roads when you near the airport on Brians route is shut down for more road works something to do with the link road there building to it.

I wouldn't touch the M1 as it's completely bolloxed Least it was when I went on it last week

But funny - you're the cabbie yet you're asking US the best route? Last cabbie that asked me to direct him to my house only got half the fare

I'm right on M1 J28 so will use it.

Not all cabbies know every single place in the UK lol. Last bloke that only had half fare went back to where he started for free

im about 5 miles from the airport

you can also come off m18 at j3. airport is signposted all the way.

the diversion john mentions...... the link road (hurst lane) between the a638 and hayfield lane (airport is off there) is closed. traffic is diverted through finningley to the east of the airport or branton/cantley to the west.
