MancDaves lunch at ten of the best

Sausage
white chips
piss wet thru peas
water as gravy with just a food colouring added to make it look kosher

Ł5.50

I nearly fell over and the customer service skills was about as good as phoning a indian call centre surprise she didn.t say her name was Gary

To finish it off it was rotten but i thought it had been raining on the chippy tray the girl behind the stall didn.t get the part where i asked if i get a proper fork with that not a wooden one i had to battle with it too keep the flooded chips on!!!!

The cars was good but expecting a bigger turn out for the ford nutz!!

There was a corsa there with a big intercooler on the front and wow it sounded the dogs danglies i thought he was trying to suck up the full airfield!!

Did anyone else hear that corsa so distinctive got best sound of the day from me!!!!

Was a fantastic day out and was the best show I have ever been too. Was nice to meet marco and his mate with the Mexico cosworth. I think there could of been alot more seating mind. Had a proper laugh with Manc Dave. He's a bit of a scum bag but I expected it with him being a Manc. Fantastic day out mate your a top laugh!

My favourite car of the whole day was the Vauxhaull Corse in red with black wings. Sounded immense and went some too!

We ran a 11.5@133mph in the Sunbeam. 39.8sec for handling course, which put us about 5th in the handling. Sadly coud'nt do top speed as car maxed out WELL before one mile (Top speed is 175mph in 5th) and thus was coasting over line as we did not want to sit on limiter for long period.

Good day though!

Cheers mate,

We had an eventful weekend if nothing else! Many thanks for the use of your seive - the mesh out of it was perfect to cover what was left of the compressor inlet!

I've just got in and am shattered. Less than 2 hours sleep in the last 48 hours...

Not a bad result though, 4th overall in a car that was removed from the tyrewall after an 80mph impact less than 24 hours before

IIRC it was the Joels Viper

4x4 Final was Simon Norris Vs Andy Forrest which Andy won.

RWD was won by Joel in the Viper

FWD was won by James Hodson with the Golf gti

Had a wicked day, strangely enough I'm burnt to fook

Tigra was seriously impressive today ! he ran 170 plus 3 times which were not counted for some reason

Nearly all the turbo vauxhalls were on the limiter in 6th way before the timing beacon so clearly they were all shifting along nicely

pics can be found here

benni good to meet you to mate glad you liked the mexcos it is very nice car

he did a 12.6 on shitty road tyres no sticky tyres i thought he done well

concidering it's 377 bhp i say he would have done alot better if we could of got hold of some R888 or something like that

the only downfall for me that there wasn't enough fords there

I had a great day too, felt freezing all day but got burnt to a crisp,

Not many fords at all, the 2 mark ones looked amazing.

both sierra cosworths looked faultless, run after run.

My scary moment of the day was being in a porta-loo at the same time as Keith Cowie doing one of his fast runs,

Thought the world was ending!!!!

Oh and saw a mint black saph on RS seven spokes on the way out, Fookin lush, So if you are on here, awesome!!

My first time at TOTB and I loved it...

Felt really bad(hangover) for the journey down as I only had 2 hours sleep and was up at 4:45am

Felt better after dick turpin sold me a hot dog.

Some awesome cars there and well done to everyone who ran

Had a good day met a few people
I had some new tyres on so went on to the handling course to give them a good scrubbing in
Then straight onto the top speed run
Thought i would come back to the handling later on
Lauched the car for the quarter mile and it didnt seem right.
Had the nitrous bottle heater on and it was up to pressure.
Into 3rd nitrous on seemed to miss a bit into 4th gear saw 165 on the stack and then popping banging afr went off the scale and then before i lifted nothing like i had turned the engine off,
Got back to the pits fearing the worst and it turns out the alt had packed up
Why it cut dead is a mystery
So that was that
Wasnt going to risk it just on a spare battery
The nitrous heater
my 4 fuel pumps
Draw a lot of amps
Wasnt going to risk an engine failure as im doing the Retro show at mallory park
Oh well thats racing
Theres always next year
Thanks to everyone who organised today
CU NEXT YEAR
