Default Gearbox Oil Reccomendation?

Recomendation for gearbox oil for a RS Cosworth Sapphire 4x4 as I want to change.

hi mate

if your doing trackdays use a good quality 75/90 fully synthetic transmission oil

if you not the use the normal dextron oil

any as long as its fully synthetic not the cheap shitty semi stuff..... i use it in all my drivetrain components diffs gearboxes and transfer box ,when you drain it out after a few months it still looks and smells like new ,doesnt go black like mineral shite!

ive just replaced all my transmission with silkolene 75/90 fully synthetic as i was recommneded

but my car is a road car

and i havnt even driven the car yet and the gearbox has to come out next week

i got mine off oilman, done a good price and was delivered next day

it also keeps the box quiet when hot ,as the oil doesnt turn to piss like the ford stuff does!

Just as important to good oil, is clean oil, so gear oil changes are also important.
