Have both at home, prefer XP but thats probably because I've used it more. I'm doing my MCTS Vista exam right now and so far everything I've read and had to learn is how MS renamed all the damn locations where they hid everything

It has some good concepts, Readyboost and drive encryption, but its a bloody cynical marketing ploy by MS to make people buy Business or Ultimate if they want to stick it on a domain.

Why the bugger would I want tablet PC option included in an O/S that I installed on a desktop.

I'll stick with XP for now using the "if it ain't broke" mentality.

Cheers

Matt

Is that it? I like the wallpaper though. I'm still tweaking mine but i can have a different wallpaper for each side of my cube, scatter the programs so they aren't clogged in taskbar and run vista and mac OS on the roof and floor parts if i want. Much easier for working on an i love the animated flames that the windows fade to when i close it.

Must say when I built myself a new PC I upgraded to Vista x64 Home Premium, and was very unsure, both 1) because it was vista, and 2) because it was 64 bit.

It's been absolutely faultless so far, much more stable than XP ever was, very easy to use, and its not just all eye-candy too, they have put a few nice touches in there aswell.

I'm very impressed, and I'd recommend it to anyone.....not that anyone will take any notice, as its "cool" to slag microsoft, and all the geeky types use linux

Very impressed with Vista HP x64
